Whirlpool Corporation’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)—the leading independent assessor of emissions targets—and are consistent with reductions required to keep global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius, as set by the Paris Agreement. Over the last four years, the company have delivered a 20 percent reduction in those emissions.
