Smeg has recently announced the addition of a new finish to its KLF03 kettle and TSF01 toaster, a rich and elegant Slate Grey hue. This new shade joins Smeg’s extensive Small Domestic Appliances colour range, which already includes bold bright, fun pastels and opulent metallics.
This time, the Italian company introduces an industrial style, cool and airy with an added sophistication and charm. “The exciting new slate grey kettle and toaster – Smeg explasins – are a great option for those torn between wanting minimalist monochrome accents and an all-out colour sensation in their kitchen.”
The kettle features a soft opening lid for easy filing, large 1.7 litre capacity with water gauge that shows both in litres and cups, and removable limescale filter whilst the toaster has 2 extra wide slots with self-centring racks for even browning, 6 browning levels for optimum choice, a bagel function perfect for muffins or crumpets as well as reheating or defrost functions.
“Although many aesthetics within the Smeg range will work well with this colour option – Smeg suggests – these products would particularly complement the Victoria TR4110 cooker of the same slate grey colour pallet. Together they would create a crisp and luxurious neutral tone which could be paired with either bright or muted colours within a kitchen and would blend easily with a range of materials”.
